OLDE MECKLENBURG BREWERY

Preparing For What’s On Tap.

Olde Mecklenburg (OMB) is Charlotte’s oldest brewery. Their ongoing success inspired a craft-beer boom in the city, with over 30 breweries opening within the span of several years.

Fortunately, OMB recognized the need to differentiate itself in an increasingly crowded marketplace. So, before opening a new brewing facility, which included a Biergarten and Brauhaus, they launched a comprehensive marketing initiative to keep themselves at the head of Charlotte’s craft-beer table.

Working with the smart folks at Concentric Marketing, we conceived a concept based on a simple but ingenious insight: the beer we drink in college is bad. Like, really bad. And once you eventually come to your senses and realize it, you begin a fantastic, lifelong quest for the best beer you can find. Beer that’s brewed better, tastes better, is better than all the rest. In Charlotte, that beer is OMB.
